Recommended by WHO (in 1990), fat intake is 15-30% of the total energy needs, is considered good for health. Among fat that is consumed everyday, it is recommended at most 10% of the total energy needs comes from saturated fat and 3-7% from unsaturated double fat. Specifically, active teens are suggested to consume 40-80 grams of fat per day in their daily diet, whereas for women, 30-60 grams, 40-80 grams for active man, and if you’re a hard worker or athlete, 80-120 gr.
